The comparison that actually decides value is cost per milligram against presentation and origin, not headline price.

The three things worth comparing

| Cost per milligram | The only figure that survives a change of presentation. A larger vial at a higher headline price is often the cheaper item. |
| Presentation | A pre-filled pen carries the cost of being filled and graduated. Compared against a lyophilised vial on price alone it will always look worse, and that comparison is not measuring the same thing. |
| Where it ships from | Domestic stock clears no customs. For anything supplied refrigerated the length of the journey is not a convenience question. |
